hur... today was quite eventful...

the dreaded report card came today... as expected, straight Fs... no offence to wesley, but i shouldn't be getting lower than that king of slackers... haha. i mean, at least he got O for econs rite... dint even get a single O.... gah...

the slightly less dreaded triple phys wasn't so bad tho... she could only do double period so it wasn't as killing... slacked in the void deck for the remainder of the physics period and then went off for math...

watched hockey today... such a pity that rjc girls lost to vjc... they definitely deserved to win the match... i mean, they had some several good moves, and could definitely haf scored... just a few poor hits in crucial areas, but well...

acjc lost to rjc. now there's a thrashing... all credit to the ac hockey guys, but they were fairly outclassed... the rj number 4 is NOT pro... switching direction of play and all, left almost the whole defence in the dust la... aidil did a really nice run tho... all the way thru the rj defence before passing it off for the ac goal... haha. 3-1... talk abt maradona of hockey:p

been wondering abt how things and situations can change... life as a whole has really changed ever since i got into j2... been one slippery and horrendous slope all the way down... and it's not the end yet...

feel like taking a whole load of sleeping pills, slashing my wrists then just going to the never ending sleep... in fact, heck the slashing, just the sleeping pills should be enuf... overdose on sedatives...

life sucks. can't take the pain anymore... cop out? i guess so... but wth... dun give a phark abt what u ppl think of me anymore...

hurhur, went church today! first time in a loooonnnggg time... can't say i really enjoyed myself, but it was interesting to go there and see what a youth service is like... haha. quite interesting... ahha. met ppl like shu an and joshua our 1se4 junior... haha. the service WAS kinda long tho... haha. the speaker was our very own chaplain barnabas chong... haha. it was quite an interesting sermon on how new age stuff can affect ur thots and all... haha. i'm rather perplexed as to how ethical relativity is bad tho... but like grace said, we grew up with the attitude that ur ethics are ur own and aren't any of my business... maybe tts how we apply ethical relativity, meaning that whatever u do is right and whatever i do is right also, in our daily lives... maybe the proper term should be apathy towards another's actions... haha.

went out for damn good dim sum after the service with the whole tan family... aha. the pork ribs are !@)&!@#)($*! good! hahaha. ate like four baskets worth plus two helpings of mango pudding... a big thank you to 2yi for treating me to the lunch:) ahhaha.

lionel's party yday was quite fun... aside from getting physically whacked up... ahha. dunno why jan was so on fire yday, can play until knock ppl down... haha. regardless, it was kinda cool... haha. and JOANNA came. surprise of the century... haha. pity denise and co dint come... would've been fun to see how lionel would react... think i overheard zhi asking dunno who whether lionel's "girl" was coming... haha. oh and i learnt a bit of mahjong too! haha.

ah. today was... okay. i'm trying to put on a cheery front for the only two girls in the class, since they're so scared of my usual depressed, morose, moping self... haha.

started off with math lec, which as usual, i totally dint pay attn to... haha. nxt up, phys, and i proceeded to enjoy myself mimicking daniel khor and bugging weize to no end... hahaha. pe was the next period, and boy was it fun... kinda cathartic in a way, dribbling past ppl, making mistakes as usual, and getting bowled over by sanjeev... still, managed to score and do all sorts of funky tricks... cm rating? urhh... 7? haha. kidding...

econs was after pe, and we did some exercises on comparative advantage, and got our weekend hw on Terms of Trade... better finish it before lionel's party tmr... math tutorial was actually quite interesting, considering that i'm not exactly on very good terms with daniel sun... found out that expectation, random variables and all are actually common sense based... ahha. went for phys make up prac after that, and it was kinda fun cursing and swearing together with siwei and wes bcoz we couldn't get our results... haha.

hurhur... it's been over these past wat, two or three days, that i realised how much of a social creature i am... nothing can make me feel better than just sitting in the void deck crapping with friends and jacking ppl like shao non-stop... haha. i must admit tho, the ct thing is starting to get out of hand:) hahaha. shao's getting a taste of his own medicine:):) haha. newae, it's really these sort of times that make school worth it, aside from the soccer la. haha. crapping with wes, jacking shao, planning drinking sessions that never happen in the end with siwei, arguing with rehan bcoz i dun think a certain girl is hot, so on and so forth... really makes jc life worth it.

imagine if school was just classes and no talking. jeex. utter silence. the teachers might enjoy it, but for the students, bleargh. comparable to living all alone, miles away from anyone. ahha.

newae, today was kinda slack... especially since almost the WHOLE class disappeared. haha. some to tekong, some "sick" and some to competition:) so in the end, gp sup was cancelled, physics and gp were talks abt our grades... speaking of which...

mrs cbh was kind enuf to try and wake us up after our abysmal failure in our TE2. our grades were seriously shite... since there were only three of us, and by coincidence, the three that need the most help, she decided to try and go thru with us how to improve... and encouraged us to think of alternatives in the very real case of "what if we do badly for A's" i haf no idea what i'm gonna do...

gp was more of the same, cept mrs. malini lim was really at her wit's end as to how to push us to do well... dunno la... i think we're actually quite lucky to get the teachers we have... imagine if our teachers were really slack. and uncaring. the word "rotting" would haf a whole new meaning...

in one week, i've seen the depths of depravity the human race can sink to. it's sickening how things are shaping up in iraq... just recently, abu ghraib has increased in notoriety after a bunch of hooligans calling themselves iraq's saviours turned out to be nothing more than white versions of saddam's secret service. the pictures are shocking, horrifying and in a word, vile. sabrina harman, lynndie england, megan ambuhl, javal davis, ivan frederick, jeremy sivits and charles graner jr all deserve whatever punishment they get. yet, this seems to be more than just a bunch of ppl deciding to torture poor iraqis. it stems from a much larger, bigoted view of the world by americans. aryan views of how they're the best way of life, of democracy and human rights? what sort of rights were those exercised by the prison guards of abu ghraib? what sort of rights were respected by the guards in relation to the prisoners? disgusting.

then, in a matter of days, comes the terrorist reply. a man is beheaded on live television. in actuality, beheaded is the wrong term. they sawed his head off. with what looks like a NOT blunt knife. they then brandish the severed head in front of the camera. what horrible, depraved, sick, perverted ideal drove these men to kill a man on television in one of the most inhumane ways possible? even the guillotine was not as bad. my heart goes out to the family of the deceased. it was stated that this is the reply to the photos of abu ghraib. does there HAVE to be a reply? what is it that drives humanity to this eye for an eye, senseless self destruction?

of course, there is no guarantee that the deceased would not have been slaughtered if abu ghraib did not happen... what is the world coming to.

went to watch acjc vs. sajc today... i'm damn proud and honoured to be part of a team such as this la... the spirit there was just overwhelming... even after going down to a really freaky goal, they kept their heads up high and carried on... even when we realised that the referee should actually haf been doing another job, like match fixing or something, they carried on... u guys did ac proud... as for the referee, i've only got one word. KELONG.

nvm, we defied all odds and kept sa to a 1-0 scoreline... tho we deserved the victory it's not the end... we're gonna marmalade MI:p heh.
