since there's such a big furore over the racism and wayne rooney's totally horrendous conduct during the Spain-England friendly, i thought i'd add my two cents worth...

firstly, what rooney did was wrong. absolutely wrong. youth is no excuse... he should've been sent off for several of his challenges, AND his disrespect for one of the game's leading players recently deceased was unacceptable. for beckham and eriksson to defend him and say that he'll learn just shows how blinkered and biased they are... the message is being sent that when ur in the england squad and ur an automatic first team choice, do what you wish, no problem, we'll defend you even if you rape murder or steal.

secondly, i think this racism claim is being blown way out of proportion... if they, by they meaning the English players and the FA, think that England is clean of racism then they've got to start getting arnd more... certainly, they're not faced with racist abuse when they're playing in stadiums with high security, and are surrounded by bodyguards wherever they go... try going to a division three football match. furthermore, these english players seem to think that racism only applies to the black players. does the world owe you a living, that only black players should be protected? how many players of asian decent are abused in england? how many people on the street? the idea that indians in england sell chapati non-stop and that chinese are takeaway people shows just how clean of racism england is. so to the english FA, stop your whining. your country is no better than Spain.

English. i think in some ways they still think they're colonial masters of the world.

nothing much to say abt econs. 'cept i screwed up big time. sighz.

after the paper it started raining... felt as if the sky itself wept for my pathetic preparation... i'm paying the price for my indiscretion, my focus on my other subjects at the expense of not really doing econs seriously for the past 2 mths since prelims. blah. and guess what, one bad paper and my parents are all over me. what happened to that belief that i could do it when i had 5 good papers before this.

and guess what, i still watched singapore vs. japan... which was a total let down... the commentators talked abt singapore's effort, and that everyone of them were heroes. i dint think so. the defenders, yes, the goalkeeper, definitely, midfielders, their work rate dint seem to be at fault... but the strikers? if itimi dickson is an example of foreign "talent" then singapore's in trouble. not a single good effort on target until the death. held on to the ball too long and tried to take on the whole japanese defence. noh alam shah dint fair much better.

haha. what are the chances that a question comes out a second time? and i was just talking abt how the question won't come out. hahahah.

to think i was praying to God that i would get a question that was doable. and religion comes out:) the sheer irony of the topic. haha. Thank You God.

that aside, i dint think i did as well as my prelims question. i was more disorganized, perhaps bcoz i was desperately thinking of what i wrote for prelims and tried to reapply it. still, shouldn't do too badly. compre was easy... haha. first time i've ever written so much for aq in my entire life.

best viewed in 1024 X 768 resolution. a brief history about the author pertaining to the theme of shadow of transcendence. it came about in the wee hours of the early morning while being whisked away into memories of the past etched deep within the mind. bittersweetness that tingled the tastebuds of her emotions and feelings, the only way out for true liberation from this reality is what is behind the shadow of transcendence; suicide. the taste of iron-rust blood coiled with the lingering bittersweetness is the only contemplation of which the simplicity of life has to offer in exchange for the shadow of transcendence. made in the heavens through one creator, an angel borne to serve man; fell from where it belonged to earth where its purity shadowed by boredom and nohing better to do.
