hmm... first book out from armour...

i must say i'm rather disappointed with the armour instructors... they boldly and brazenly embroider the words "Lead By Example" on their caps but they don't really do what it says... waking up late, having as many problems as us passing ippt (HAHA). oh well... first impressions... maybe it'll improve when we get to know them better. oh and to the ppl who know what i'm talking abt, robotnik became stone cold steve austin. haha. hilarious...

newae, read this article on whether women are becoming more raunchy in singapore. well, yeah, DUH. not say like the guys are putting up a lot of resistance or complaints rite... in any case, some of the views put forth were quite interesting... esp the one about how the women here simply copy western ideas and put them into "action". women i know, do u think u ladies are copying and getting raunchy? dressing revealingly or tantalizingly... or issit jst fashionable... to bare flesh, show ur lovely toned abs, ur hipbones in ur hipsters... bar top dancing, dancing with all sorts of guys you don't even know in the clubs, drinking until u start vomitting on strangers, being "liberal"...

anyway, in a related idea, saw this bus ad while i was out with mel yday... run by dove, it was about inner beauty... "do you need curves to be sexy?" and there was this thing abt being flat. haha. "what do you think? flat or flattering?" seriously... this is what real beauty is about. the confidence and the ability to stand out and not care about your body or what people say about your body. beauty isn't about wearing a bikini top to orchard road (remember THAT issue), or wearing ur jeans so low every guy on the road can start counting ur hair down there, and admire the way you cut it in an arrow shape... it's about wearing a simple t-shirt and shorts and having the confidence to walk as if ur wearing a versace on a runway... that's what is the most attractive... if you compare someone wearing t-shirt and shorts, who is confident, to someone who wears the latest bosom revealing top and bottom revealing skirt, who constantly pulls both up because she worries she'll be "too fashionable", who's the attractive one? what makes a supermodel so super? the confidence she has even when she wears a horrendous dress that looks like edward scissorhands tailored it on the runway. she can carry it off with that oomph.
