look at today's papers! forum page....

Mr. Ow Yeong Wai Kit, says that air con and covered walkways make life less of a drudgery? after being to india, it's highly doubtful he truly knows what drudgery really is. Now, granted, i do come from a more privileged background so my life is definitely not drudgery, and his life might be horribly tough, but it honestly can't be worse than the life of the indian nationals.

Let's do a comparison. In Singapore, we have clean, running water on tap, proper public housing (HDB flats), clean streets, toilets that flush, public transport (with their thrice accursed rising fares), oh and rubbish dumps that actually have rubbish IN them. In India, getting water from wells is still seen, housing tends to be a shack built out of rubbish (which is admittedly readily available), the streets are strewn with aforementioned rubbish as well as the homeless and destitute, toilets at times can be simply an open air pit or the roadside (depending on whether you intend to take a dump or a leak), and public transport is either overcrowded or relies on camels (those beasts might be considered personal i guess), and the dumps have rubbish all around instead of inside. YES, life in Singapore is such drudgery. Woe are we, we need "aircon and covered walkways" to help alleviate said toil.

doesn't mean i agree with how the govt runs this country, but one can't deny that they've done a pretty good job in keeping the ship afloat so far. certainly, it's just a bit better than drudgery.

don't complain about having no shoes, try talking to the guy who has no feet.

harassed by a drunk angmoh today.... or at least i was told he was drunk. couldn't smell the alcohol myself... i certainly hope he's so "talented" as a foreigner that he's worth all the trouble he brings by being a nuisance.

make some sense

best viewed in 1024 X 768 resolution. a brief history about the author pertaining to the theme of shadow of transcendence. it came about in the wee hours of the early morning while being whisked away into memories of the past etched deep within the mind. bittersweetness that tingled the tastebuds of her emotions and feelings, the only way out for true liberation from this reality is what is behind the shadow of transcendence; suicide. the taste of iron-rust blood coiled with the lingering bittersweetness is the only contemplation of which the simplicity of life has to offer in exchange for the shadow of transcendence. made in the heavens through one creator, an angel borne to serve man; fell from where it belonged to earth where its purity shadowed by boredom and nohing better to do.

enjoy what i make out of maturity and childish fantasies.
